Mason 57 woodcut in colors, 14 1/4 x 4 1.4 inches, signed in the plate and in pencil by the artist. 
A famous composition of the mother holding her small child, both seen from the rear and reflected in the long narrow mirror before them, where the child's expression suggests a squeal of joy.

Beneath a framing vine laden with yellow gourds, stands a naked child in japanese platform sandals, holding a fan at her side, while she listens to the 'complaints' of a small flock of white geese.
